The Full Story
ManaBites started as Cafeteria Jean Pierre as a small cafe in a farmers market in Portoviejo, Ecuador in 1990. Despite limited resources, our mother's passion for baking led to a growing demand for her wholesome traditional products both nationally and internationally. After a devastating earthquake in 2016, the infrastructure where our business was located suffered tremendously and had to be rebuilt from scratch. However, our mother's unwavering vision and faith helped her rebuild her cafe. When the building process was finished, the cafe became one of the nicest infrastructures in the city of Portoviejo, Ecuador. Running a business is never easy, and it becomes more challenging when unexpected events happen. Despite these challenges, the founder's son along with her two sisters decided to continue his mother's legacy by making their iconic products available in Ecuador and beyond through a new brand "ManaBites". Today, ManaBites is proud to offer their delicious wholesome baked and ready to bake goods in Charlotte, North Carolina and ship it to many states across the USA. In continuing with the founder's legacy, we are dedicated to sourcing the finest local ingredients and providing healthy products for our health-conscious customers. With a rich family heritage in the industry, we take pride in offering transparency and reliability in all our products. For any inquiries, feel free to reach out to us.
